The Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) event in the Netherlands will focus on the impact of AI on security, privacy, and personal autonomy. Speakers will discuss topics such as generative AI in the threat landscape, managing privacy and security risks in large language models, and the influence of AI on decision-making and digital protection. The event will feature individual talks, a panel discussion, and networking opportunities.

We’re excited to invite you to the second Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) event in the Netherlands, an evening dedicated to exploring how AI is reshaping security, privacy, and personal autonomy.

Rhesa Baar will explore how generative AI is transforming the threat landscape and what modern security defense looks like in this new era.

Isabel Barberá will share a lifecycle-based approach to managing privacy and security risks in large language models (LLMs).

Tina van der Linden will reflect on how AI influences our ability to think freely, make autonomous decisions, and protect our digital selves.

A heartfelt thank you to all three speakers for sharing their time, knowledge, and perspectives with our community.

The evening will include individual talks, a panel discussion, and time for questions, networking, and connection.

About WISP

Women in Security and Privacy is an international non-profit organization with the mission to advancing women and underrepresented communities to lead the future of security and privacy. With several local groups all around the world, WISP creates a community for women to connect, learn from each other, and support each other by creating networks. The emerging landscape of security and privacy calls for more diverse voices and perspectives and therefore we decided to contribute to the expansion of the WISP network to the Netherlands.
