In Europe, one in three people over 65 experience a fall each year. Falls are the leading cause of ED visits and hospitalizations for seniors, and their economic burden is immense, with direct medical costs estimated at €25B annually across the EU.

Zenior is on a mission to empower seniors to age safely both at home and in care facilities. We are building the next generation of health and wellbeing technology for elder care, leveraging advanced sensor fusion and IoT connectivity to create a monitoring system that is passive, effortless, and invisible. This way, seniors live with dignity and caregivers focus on what matters.

We are now looking for a Technical Co-Founder / CTO to join the founding team and lead technology development from prototype to scalable platform.

As our CTO you will…

·        Lead and build a multidisciplinary tech team (embedded systems architecture, firmware, AI) while driving integration of hardware and AI into a user-friendly, home-ready product.

·        Collaborate with design and executive leadership to shape product strategy, roadmap, and ensure seamless user experience and functionality.

·        Establish clinical and academic partnerships to support validation, trials, and continuous product improvement based on real-world data and insights. Ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and regulatory readiness (CE/medical device class I/IIa).

Who you are…

·        You have a background in electrical or electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering with experience in embedded systems engineering, IoT devices or related fields.

·        Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to work hands-on in prototyping, comfortable with uncertainty, motivated by solving big problems.

·        Motivated to take on a co-founder role with ownership, responsibility, and long-term commitment.

·        Familiarity with medical device development standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, etc.) is a plus.
